It doesn’t feel like we are closing any talent gap that existed this year.

Not significantly at all but moving from Y1 to Y2 should close those close Ls to Ws and that could equal a 10-3 season still.

There are only so many "elite" players in the portal, we can't just snag 3 5-stars because we want them.

Verse would have improved the rotation at DL. Evans or Gibbs would have been great but we lost them, for logical reasons, to other SEC teams that they thought were better for them.

Neyor is a definite improvement. And he would have helped us win 1/3 of Pitt, Ole Miss, or Purdue. Maybe 2/3. He definitely would have caught that Milton TD pass at the back of the endzone at the end of ole miss.

We JUST IMPROVED the roster TODAY. We will continue to improve the roster and add depth. Depth is our most important need.

If the freaking rules committee would come down on fake injuries we would be 2 wins better already next year just with the offense we have right now.

depends on which talent gap you’re referring to. We’re getting closer to the 2nd tier of the SEC where we were before 40+ players left.

Florida has lost a lot of talent in transfers and recruiting took a nosedive for them. We’ll probably still lose to them, but the gap is closing.

Kentucky and us probably are about equal in talent, Florida is a half step above. Then on top of Everest is Georgia.

Alabama and Georgia are unreachable goals. They’re playing pickup with these kids.

These refs are straight trash. Vescovi charge was no where close to a charge and chandler shoots a three and you can hear the defender slap his arm and no call. Straight trash.
