Sadly, I'm not sure we will be beating UGA anytime soon. We need to get back to beating Florida and bury them further. Keep Kentucky below us. Solidify ourselves as #2 in the East, probably with annual losses to UGA and Bama. We can do that, achieving 10-2 in the next 3 - 4 years. That's step 1. Step 2, challenge Georgia.Saban has the look Spurrier had (twice) when he realized he wasn't having as much fun.
Seems pretty clear aTm put together a top-down, phased plan. They focused on facilities, invested in hiring Jimbo, gave him a big staffing budget and waited to unleash their NIL strategy. They were proactive and ready to launch.
Having UGA strong doesn't benefit UT. The road to the division championship goes through Athens and the state of Georgia is important to UT recruiting. If we want to rebuild to championship-caliber, it's division first-- and that means beating UGA, with UF a mental thorn and UK (and SCAR) thinking they're the third best program in the East.

Speed only has one year of eligibility left. Kind of hope the staff chases some younger guys with more eligibility. And Speed
