I want to know that this company stays above reproach
Three of the main individuals of Spyre are James Clawson, Hunter Baddour and Sheridan Gannon. They all three have history with UT dating back to their College days. They have been involved in sports marketing a number of years. I doubt they soil their reputation with hand in a cookie jar. That said.....Trust but verify !

Fwiw they have plans, and one company has already tweeted out they're a part of, bringing that number to 100% and the overhead will be covered separately.

All they'd have to do is show their cash inflow and match it to all player deals to an auditor and prove the payments were as shown. Ok, not quite that simple, but it shouldn't be complicated either. And if they decided to be sneaky and pay themselves higher salaries that would end up on their taxes too.

Jmo but the longterm play here is to set up dozens of relationships, of which maybe 10-20% will end up in the NFL and pay off hugely for them.

Here's the way they should mold the "what we get out of this" part of it....you work with the university and establish relationships with players. Those players later need representation to negotiate contracts etc. at the professional level...guess who they trust?

UGA was the most boring yet effective offense I saw this year. I don't know if they will be hurt or helped by a new OC.
Hurt if Kirby has anything to say. They were extremely effective on deep shots and the passing game. It took a really legit OC just to earn the reigns to be allowed to attempt those shots. Any newcomer will be crushed with tight formation run calls.

I watched a quite a few of their games. Their Tight formations and under center action was alot more prevalent this season than the last two seasons. They were all about bully ball. Took deep shots from those max protection groupings as well. Used alot of 2 Tight ends

Wife sent me this photo showing the different predictions on the local news stations. Depending on what new station you follow in Nashville, the city is expecting between 3-10 inches 😂

This reminds me of the forecast decades ago that led one Nashvillian to later inform local meteorologists, "Well, I've got fourteen inches of partly cloudy on my front porch."

So...it has been asked multiple times, and I have yet to see the answer...Are we in on any of the Bama transfers? Does the silence simply mean that no one knows, or am I looking in the wrong places for answers?

My thing is this..I want to know that this company stays above reproach. I will not give to them until I know they have the discipline and integrity to stay out if the cookie jar.

The love of money is the root of all evil. It will be a huge temptation to have 20-30 million a year flowing through Spyre and someone or someones, not try to get creative and divert more of that into their pockets.

I want to help, but I want the 90% to go to players and not end up with them claiming "overhead" being more than thought it would be and keeping 30% of it because in reality the guys in charge voted to give themselves huge salaries.

I've seen that happen with several "charitable" companies.

I think that’s a fair concern with any organization you donate to. It’s not my job to convince you because as I don’t work for Spyre…. Yet?

I will say that I know both James and Hunter and have for 7 or so years and have worked with them on projects in the past in my career. I think they’re both great guys…. But you also don’t know me from Adam so I get that doesn’t mean a whole lot coming from me haha
