Harper out here drafting people in the portal
-APSo I was thinking after I saw Aaron Willis go to the portal about how many kids that have entered this program are no longer here over the last three years. So I started looking…
2021: 19 signed-11 gone This includes Dillon Brooks, Cody Brown and the tackle from TKA that signed and asked out of their letter.
2020: 23 signed-9 gone
2019: 23 signed-15 gone
To sum it up The 2019-2021 classes saw 65 kids that signed and 35 of those are no longer here due to transfer. That should sum up how big of a challenge this job is currently… so for Heup and company to have some momentum and juice is pretty remarkable imo.

Good freakin lord what a payday! Happy for him.Another benefit of going in the second round is a nice payday for Alontae. Happy for him.
“According to financial figures from Spotrac, the estimated value of Taylor’s four-year rookie deal as the No. 49 pick will be $7,204,684, including a guaranteed signing bonus worth a projected $2,419,770”
5 Vols drafted this year. Will be interesting to see if we can beat that next year. There’s probably 3-4 from the offensive side(Hooker, Tillman, Wright, Carvin) but I don’t know if you can pencil in any defensive guys
