think the debris fields can get up to 3/4 mile wide.

Used to watch the tornado chasers on Disc. Read that 5 members of org show have died. Three chasing storms, one I think had an opiod habit, and one suicide.

Dudes visited the MO site after the F5. That one was a mile wide. Looked like a bomb went off. Hard not to get emotional, im sure those guys get addicted to the adrenaline.

Lived in Webb City ("suburb" of Joplin) for 5 years. My wife still works there. I've only ever seen pictures (I was in Ad Diwaniyah, Iraq on 5.22.11; wife was at Fort Hood......well, Killeen), but you're absolutely right on that aspect.

Funny story about it. May 22d is our anniversary, the wife and I were talking on Skype on our laptops when her phone rings. She picks up, listens, and goes absolutely sheet white. I ask what's wrong, she tells me "Joplin just got hit by a tornado and nobody can get in touch with my "Momma" and "Daddy" (her grandparents, long story). I respond with an expletive, then "happyanniversaryloveyoubye" so she could do what she needed to do.

She had proof of life within probably 6 hours, she shot me a message while I slept saying that Momma and Daddy were alive and unharmed. Somehow luckily, two or three days later, I was lucky enough to be back on Skype with her when her Momma called. They chat for a minute, and I see my wife's face go to absolute rage. I hear "PUT HIM ON THE (*expletive deleted*) PHONE RIGHT THE (*expletive deleted*) NOW". My wife was and still is a "daddy's girl", that old retired Senior Chief Petty Officer (still miss the guy myself, we lost him in 2014) hung the moon and stars in her eyes. So, the phrase "cuss like a Sailor" (the maddest I've ever seen my Mrs.) got a WHOLE new definition that day when she found out that the tail end of the Joplin tornado had gone through their front yard, and while it was doing so.....Momma was in the bathtub under a mattress, but Dad was standing on the front porch drinking a cup of coffee watching the trees come down.

(*I have another family story from the tornado, but that one's kinda spooky*)

There’s always that one inning in the middle of the game lately where the pitching is awful.
Pitch count is getting up there.they had some really good ab's early in the game and it's paying off now. I would imagine beams day is done now.

Time for the bats to heat up.

This team needs to be in situations like this tho. It's one thing to just dominate...it's another to make meaningful plays when it matters in a series decider.

Win or lose I think this team learns something about itself this weekend.

And give some credit to auburn...despite Fridays late game meltdown they've played a good series.

The difference in this series outside the 7th and 8th in game one is auburn is getting on base consistently.

Our defense and pitching hasn't had to deal with that much this season.

I’d personally be shocked if Banks, Wright and Carvin are drafted
Carvin gave up 0 sacks last year and Banks was 2nd in the sec in tackles, if they even match their production from last year they would easily be day 2 guys
