But how many of those qb's were true first round talent? Were some of them just products of the system or players around them? That's been part of my assertion all along, that other programs/coaches have been capable of getting more out of their qb's than others like Elliott. Alabama has done it multiple times, Elliott only gets as far as his QB will take him.

I’m not sure that’s exactly correct. Nonetheless, Mullen can’t recruit well enough. This argument has been had ad naseum.
