My fears came true on the NIL thing. AP basically confirming Spyre has shut down recruiting efforts for now. Saban and Kirby got this done right before our big recruiting weekend.

Saban and Kirby will still be paying players. Bama is going after the Pitt receiver, such BS.

CFB product has been stale and boring for 15 years. One or two coaches who sensed the tide shifting, that they may have to do things out in the open pitched a fit.

Guys, I could use your prayers. Had to drive myself to the ER. Woke up in excruciating pain. They think it's a kidney stone. Never had one before. They've finally given me some meds so the pain is starting to subside a little.

I think this could be the last gasp of the ncaa. You've got state laws aligning with supreme court decisions. College sports is big big money. It drives local economies and generates tax revenues. Better teams means more money. Politicians realize this, plus they know voters want their teams to be successful.

Bull crap! I don’t believe that for one second. We are not the only school with NIL, I doubt all these universities are going to quit their NIL just because Sab and the NCAA are trying to keep the status quo going. Some just challenge the under the table shady crap and blow it all up! Power 5 get out of bed with NCAA model if they aren’t going to clean there own house up and be fair to all schools and quit making to many rules that they cannot adequately control. Quit chasing after boosters that cannot possibly be controlled by the universities. Let NIL do it’s thing, maybe some type of overall cap. Whatever, please tell us NCAA your freakin plans. College football is the most popular sport and it’s governing body should be out debt and transparent. If you can’t rule on things better than you can now why should folks think suddenly your going to do better. Instead of teams being on a more level field seems like all the crying is coming from the ones that are on top. And the the NCAA is like their baby bottle to keep things under the table for business as usual. It’s sickening, all power 5’s need to stick together and demand changes to the NCAA. In the end it’s their slow back room scheming and greed that has brought this too this point. It’s 100 percent on them! Get it right, or GTHO!
