So we will prob need another QB on the roster for next year. Tbh, I wouldn't mind taking a chance on that Luther kid from middle TN.

Imo, I don't think we get a transfer to come here with Milton having 3 years left, but hell who knows.
Another one after Jackson?

So you’re worried that our strength and conditioning staff isn’t getting our players ankles strong enough? I’m confused as to why it would be anybody’s fault

Look a strength coaches job is to make players faster, stronger and DURABLE

I made the post saying it’s worth asking the question if the durable part is failing here. I don’t know if there is an abnormal amount of injuries but it seems that may be true

So how does one make the ankles of a team more durable? Have you ever heard of that happening?
sounds to me like you just want to stir the pot

Probably not far off. Extra possessions for them because of our pace. If it happens that way I hope the team gets over it quick because the next week is crucial to any hope of a bowl game and avoid the losing record. Don't need any hangover.

I didn't really watch FL defense, I wonder if we can turn it into a shootout?

I’m glad Heupel came here. He is an “up and comer,” and he didn’t have to take on this mess and this hyper-intense, super-negative fanbase.

Could have left it to the Wide Receiver Coach from Central Connecticut State University, which is who I thought we were going to hire after the mess Pruitt left us in.
Yeah I wish our fans would use that intensity to make our team a more positive and inviting team nvironmwnt…. We need everyone pulling in the same direction to get this fixed.

If ankles seem to be a team wide issue then yea that adds more questions. Maybe the workload needs an adjustment. Again if the team is having more injuries than normal It would be crazy for the staff not to look in the mirror and try to rectify it. It’s that’s stirring the pot then so be it but it’s facts

I watched a little. I don't see us running against them. If we can't get a push against tech I don't see us doing anything on the ground. I suspect they'll do what all the teams have done to us, stack the box, take away the short routes, and make us beat them on the deep stuff. Until we can prove that we can hurt them consistently, I think most teams will play us like this. If we start clicking and hit a few long balls it should open other stuff up. I have zero confidence we can do it though.

It’s amazing how teams like Ole Miss can just rebound fairly quickly in a tougher division when they have far less success as a program than us in total. Just proves if you can get a QB you can overachieve. Why can’t we ever do that?

Because we don’t ever hire good coaches

Agreed but the X factor is where their team will be mentally. If we start fast we might get into a rhythm on offense.

I’m worried about our OLine, especially if both Mays boys are out.
What are y’all’s thoughts on the WR drops? I know we’ve talked about Milton fastballs and all that but there were some balls yesterday that should have been caught- specifically there was a long ball to the inside shoulder that I think VJ dove towards that hit him easily in the hands and should have been completed.
With regards to overthrows, that has got to be coached in somewhat to avoid interceptions because we are see it from multiple quarterbacks. It could also be wr’s getting tired during the games, perhaps they will get better as the season goes along.
All in all, we knew it would be a rough year, but we have gotta get more out of the QB position and Oline if we are going to move up the league pecking order.

It’s all about the QB….. lane walked into Matt corrall…. JH walked into HH, Bailey, and Maurer.
