It certainly may prevented a late-in-the-process panic hire. And who knows, if a guy with a resume like Kippy’s can surround himself with the right people, might end up with a homerun. Look at Arkansas currently.

You do have a point though that we would have still had the same incompetent buffoons making the hire a year later, but then again, it may have stalled the process long enough for one of them to come to their senses.

Chief said Saban was egotistical and has some menial issues. He is all about “self” and he walks by a player without speaking to him, unless a QB or RB. Also has a shrink on staff 24-7.
Keep in mind this was in 2005. I saw Chief every yr as I worked a golf tourney for Rotary Club in Sp Hill, TN.
Chief was (is) a good guy to talk to as he was always down to earth and a blue collar guy. He is an avg guy with a high football IQ so I appreciated his personality. I had a picture taken with him but it got lost in a move.

I so hope it pulls Kirby and Kiffin and everyone who worked under Saban into this mess. We are not delusional here and we all know Pruitt was cheating... He learned from the best in the business while at both Bama and UGA. Everyone in that circle has dirty hands. You know Kiffin and Kirby are desperately hoping this doesn't come near them. When has Kiffin ever been "speechless?"

This could be so good for us. We need players coming out with stories to stoke that fire. Players need to start defending players and NIL with stories of shady dealings. Expose all the teams and coaches attacking NIL.
