VolNation RF,
I’ve learned many things since following here after the 2008 recruiting class including:
1. Don’t get on hatvol’s bad side.
2. Don’t be a moran.
3. Keep a fresh supply of pocket presents.
4. Always wash your Zollicoffer.
Tomorrow I’m getting married and I could use any advice you’re willing to give.
Going under the knife in the morning. My nose is, anyway. I'm having my Mohs procedure. The small scar story will definitely be spun to be the result of a knife fight at Waffle House with @nicksjuzunk. And @StoVol , I hope you're happy because when I started to type Waffle, if you look closely you can see that one of the suggested words is Wafflestomp. Seriously though, would appreciate some good vibes tomorrow.
Congratulations! I'm glad he obviously takes after his mom. Please forgive me for a moment while I brag on my youngest. Today he graduates from the University of Tennessee with his degree in electrical engineering. He's worked his backside off for four years. Many hours spent burning that midnight oil. His profs love him, pleading with him to stay and do research and get his masters. He's done though. Tired of school. I can understand that.
Thanks for letting me brag. Parent's pride is real.
some of you morans are elderly dogs. help with her dog farts have gotten wretched. seriously is there some elixir that helps em smell better?
Same here, but was mechanical. I told him he accomplished something his old man couldn't. He was a much better student than I.Very happy for all of you!! That is a big deal. I started out in EE and it whipped my tail. I am fine with where I ended up. Kudos to your son!! That is a very tough degree.
He doesn’t play in the league anymore because he couldn’t stay healthy anymore. His body broke down on him. Cancer, acl, and Achilles tendon ruptureSeen a video of Eric Berry and realized you never hear or see anything about the Berry and TN. Seems like it’s been since his brothers left. Any animosity there or just not alotmof reason to come back? Weird too that he doesn’t play in league anymore
I think State's slightly larger field played a hand in more runs. Would've had 2 more home runs in Lindsey Nelson, though.
But we were able to put more runners on base hitting the gaps.
As much as I've heard my State friends talk about how small our field is and how big Dudy Noble is, they're not THAT much different in playing field size. I don't get it. Especially with how short right field is in Dudy Noble. It's a one of a kind stadium though. For baseball lovers, its a must-see.
Lindsey Nelson:
LF - 320
LCF - 360
CF - 390
RCF - 350
RF - 320
Dudy Noble:
LF - 330
LCF - 376
CF - 390
RCF - 374
RF - 305
I think it was @engineerVOL or maybe @Brillovol that mentioned that before. I told him about it and he said he didn't think it was all that important but he's since changed his tune. I think he's going to pursue the PE.I went to UT for the same but it’s been well over a decade for me. Many professors I had are no longer there—Dr. Michael J. Roberts (Emeritus), Dr. Jack S. Lawler (Emeritus), Dr. Walter Green (Emeritus), Dr. Paul B. Crilly (now at the US Coast Guard Academy), Dr. Michael G. Thomason (Emeritus), Dr. Robert C. Ward (Emeritus), and others I am sure I’m missing—but my time there is still one of the greatest experiences of my life. My background and studies were in power systems and power electronics, and I currently work in the electric power space.
I don’t know your son’s longterm goals, but I would encourage him to pursue his PE. Next to my diploma, it has been invaluable and afforded me growth opportunities I otherwise would not have had. Congratulations to your son!
Yeah, there were about 4 I liked. I didn't like the last one's story, but as far as f/x & animation, it was crazy. From all the island talk on here, then watching the giant crab episode, it's the one I'll probably remember most. That one was so well done. The last one was maybe the best animation I've ever seen from a technical standpoint. Just mind blowing. Overall a very strong third installment. I hope they keep coming!
No, I didn't send one. Thanks though. I have a couple things to do at the beginning of the week that will dictate what I can do. Hail Mary time.If you sent me an email, I didn’t get one. Please let me know here. I have been watching for one, but sometimes our work email restrictions will block a sender and not even give me notice…
Still praying for you regardless
Keep shaking your head. If you're talking about me, all I said was we need to have the ability to manufacture runs in low scoring games when the ball is NOT going to leave the yard.
And Luc was in a bad slump and leaving umpteen runners on base.
Not an EE, but I had Crilly for circuits. I enjoyed his class a lot.I went to UT for the same but it’s been well over a decade for me. Many professors I had are no longer there—Dr. Michael J. Have you been to Thailand and their islands? I have not but would love to one day.
