After seeing how overrated Miami is this year....that Bama win doesn't look as impressive anymore. Now I'm not saying that UT is gonna beat UF and I'm not saying that it wasn't impressive that they came back and almost beat Bama....but maybe we should pump the brakes on how good Bama is this year. UF looks completely one dimensional on offense. If our Dline can have some success in stopping the run and force Jones to throw the ball....we have a chance to keep it close.

UF is alot better running this year than passing. A little uncommon for a Mullen team.

Mullen’s always been a run first guy from the Shotgun. Read Options, Speed options etc. Came from Meyer obviously. If anything was uncommon with mullen it was last season’s offense which had immobile QB therefore they couldn’t run his usual system hes ran since Mississippi state

What’s up with everyone so negative on Hooker? He led us to 42 offensive points in 3 quarters of play in his first start in a new system with a duct tape OL. He made plays when they weren’t there and has great elusiveness to extend plays.

He did what he should have done and met expectations. IMO, he did enough to earn the start next week.

It's not Hooker. Milton getting his ish together is the answer

That’s the thing…… you are going to have to be patient….. Milton is our best/only chance to have a guy that can run the offense effectively…. He can make all the throws(not talking about his issue connecting), he is mobile and can be a factor in all the RPO’s, Read option, designed QB run part of the offense…. Hooker is our most mobile qb and decent in the short passing game but not much of a threat down the field…. He can steal us a few games but that may not last as teams adjust to him and the limited plays that we are able to run with him…. Bailey is not and has not been an option at this time…… we just have to trust the staff to try and get either Milton or Bailey as productive as possible bc they are the only options we have.

Im so mad about how good Ole Miss is. I think they beat Bama and end up winning the west if Corral stays healthy. I'm a big believer in Kiffin as a coach and i think this is the best team he's ever had.

And of course this is the year we play them.

If they beat Bama, Kiffin will be turned in for cheating

Milton has the arm to run the entire offense….Hooker cannot make all the throws necessary to make the offense run at its peak level…. Both Milton and Hooker have similar accuracy right now…. Milton has been better in practice so there is hope that he can improve his in game accuracy…. I know it is frustrating the coaches that it is not there yet.

agreed, on both accounts. UGA's offense needs some work, but they at least put some points on the board Saturday against an SEC E opponent. i'm not sure they beat UF this year though. no one else in the East can beat them i don't think. UK game may be a sneaky one, but i'd be pretty shocked if UK pulled that upset. if Auburn plays like they did Saturday night, they'll have a chance against UGA.

The SEC put out a statement that said it should have been reviewed and stopped when the official waved his arms.

The MSU players never possessed the ball so it actually was live but the ref blew the play dead and it should not have been a TD.

Looking at the 2021 SEC defenses after 3 weeks. I used Jeff Sagarin’s ratings for strength of schedule (SOS) because he ranks all 258 teams (FBS+FCS). Tennessee Tech is ranked #238 so that gives us the overall weakest schedule thus far into the season. Florida has either the 2nd best or 3rd best offense in the conference so far, depending on if you’re measuring total yards or yards per play. We’ll likely find out this Saturday if our defense is for real. If it is, we may make a game of it. jmo.

We need our offensive passing game to be clicking this week as that appears to be the weakest link so far in the Florida defense.

ESPN FPI this week has us ranked above Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, South Alabama, and Vanderbilt.

The rankings are for the 14 SEC teams.

I don't think Pitt is better than either KY or MO. Pitt got beat my Western Michigan today. Western Michigan isn't a good football team. Both MO and KY are much better teams than the Vols are right now plus both games are on the road. We'll be underdogs in both games. I don't give us much chance of beating either.
