I was out by Medicine Park in Comanche Oklahoma a couple years ago. Really cool little town right on a river. Maybe 15-20 little shops and bars. Went to the "mountains" there, near Holy City. Crazy views. Holy City is pretty wild too.

The Wichita mountains and the Arbuckle mountains are just so weird...they are both beautiful random little mountain oases out in the middle of the plains. They are also extremely old.
