Go back another decade for the best music. The early 80’s was okay but the late 80’s…not so much. Nothing beats the 70’s. Even my 20-something kids agree.
The 80s was such a disaster. Not saying some good bands didn't come out of the decade, but the vast majority of the classically 80s stuff is so cringey and daft. Not sure what happened there after the 60s and 70s being so great with music. Fashion and cars too.

View attachment 460368We arrived home around dinner time. She had to have a PICC line installed and is gonna be on antibiotics a minimum of six weeks. All that being said, she is doing good! She’s laughing and playing a lot and seems happy to be home. I know mama and I are so happy to be in our bed. Thank you to all who have prayed for our baby girl. I believe her story is going to be a massive testimony one day. Much love to all!

I’m so happy for you all. Many blessings and let her light shine.

Technology advances in studio recording. Everyone went electronic and it sucked.

wow. pretty judgmental.

ive worked in public radio. dont think id have ever struck it rich, but absolutely enjoy the format, news, and information.
LOL I was differentiating between free radio and satellite radio and public radio (like npr). Poor people like me who can't afford satellite are allowed to call it poor man's radio.

I found this information:

  • Pitched the final three innings against Vanderbilt to pick up a win and helped his cause vs. the Commodores by hitting a game-winning grand slam in the 10th inning (5/8/94).

In that same year, he also did this

  • Hit a game-tying grand slam in the NCAA Mideast Regional Final, forcing the Arizona State game to extra innings before UT fell, 5-4, in 10 innings.(5/30/94).
It would have been the Vandy game, because I'm pretty sure the game ended after the grand slam. Excellent find! I can now tell that story with more detail than I remember haha, thanks!
