Notre Dame is also extremely fundamentally sound and has been excellent defensively. If we win this game it will mean we’ve had to find another way to win against a solid team just as we did vs GATech and Campbell last week.

Beam pitched in relief late in the year and got rocked. He’s been unbelievable as a starter but not bringing him in that situation as a true freshman.
