That does help. There will be a transition, but getting in a spring and fall practice will help him. At least we have some young talented depth. Don’t sleep on Jackson at Qb, I think the guy is going to be pretty good as well. Always need a little depth at Qb. GBO!I don’t see any way he redshirts. He is too good. And he will be here in December with 8 months to be fully ready as well.
Tayven might actually end up being really good. I’m excited to see him compete this summer.Man....you and me both know that ain't happening lol.
Also, freshman QBs have been starting in the SEC regularly for over 20 years now.
Nico needs to add some good weight. He'll be ready. And by far be our best option.
Tayven Jackson will redshirt, and become a better QB competing with Nico everyday.
Bama could redshirt Bryce Young because they had a 1st rnd draft pick in Matt Jones who has already played good football coming in for Tua.
We have to play Nico. And if he gets hurt, we have to play Tayven.
I'm not crying. I'm proud of our guys. Won the regular season. Won the SEC tournament. Played their hearts out. Most fun team in the history of baseball.Everyone was waiting for the Vols baseball team to fall.
They wanted them to fail.
The only way to show that the UT way worked was to win. Otherwise the haters would have the fuel needed.
I hate that they got the fuel needed.
They are loving these salty volunTears
You are mentioning guys who came into loaded teams and didn't start game 1. Ainge and Shaeffer were all we had and Frohm and Manning were due to injury. Even Bray and Dobbs had to start during their true freshmen seasons, but to win the job in fall camp, start game 1 and dominate is something all together different.
I'm one that hasn't given up on Milton. Especially, considering the fact that we may need that man at some point this season. Jackson is far from ready.
Anybody have any St Augustine suggestions? (Places to eat or what-not). We are heading that way now
Looks like fescue to me. Watering it religiously (without overwatering) is probably the only way to save it at this point, but that may be a fools errand. If you can find some way to argue the contractor who installed it caused it to die then they will replace it. Try to have them replace it this fall when it cools off. Then it can get roots established over the fall, winter, and spring and may not completely die off next summer.Find the copperhead
@SoilVol no idea if this is a good enough photo, but this is the type of grass I have.

25 rows of mondo grass, then, 25 rows of monkey grass.Looks like fescue to me. Or, if you don't care what kind of lawn you have, you can overseed with bermuda and water daily until it establishes. Bermuda is extremely hardy to hot weather and you do virtually nothing but mow it. Practically impossible to kill. Fescue probably looks nicer, takes more work, have to reseed it every so often, will stay green in fall and earlier in spring. Thicker, taller stand than bermuda.
Lawns are stupid money pits. Reject modernity. Kill it all and make your whole yard gardens, trees, and wildflowers lol.
