I took my kids to the air zoo (air and space museum) in Kalamazoo Michigan today. In the space area they had an exhibit on how everyday items were developed from research by the space program. Check out the item they had on display on top shelf.

So what’s the most comfortable running shoe you’ve had?

I've been very happy with Nike Pegasus. I've owned 3 pair. I've put about 500 miles of pure running plus whatever else walking around town, work, etc and are just now wearing down a bit.

Had a chance to get one from Costco for $300. The weight issue caused the delay in purchase and they were snapped up quick. Leap before mulling next time.
