I'm not sure there's a better view from a public library in Tennessee you morans!View attachment 471976
Not seen are the five people with their shoes off, sitting in shade smoking cigs right next to the door my kids and I use to enter the bldg.

Fortunately the City removed the vacant Uhaul bldg to replce it with that beaut of a $500K Johnson City sign that fits a downtown historic district. (Which was great for my friends who own Atlantic).

City has glaring needs for school upgrades, most notably my kids elementary.

Seriously though love the idea of them spending money on park beautification/flood mitigation project. They really have done a nice revitalization job.

In next ten years they HAVE to solve the J Sevier problem (which will be a restaurant/shopping, watch), and parking issue.

Not in love with the $40million dollar bond they just took out to rebuild Walnut.

Sad, if true.
You see Last Dance? Bloodshot eyes like a mfer and has been in just about any picture I've seen since retirement. Wouldn't surprise me.

Even during the post-game clips in Last Dance he'd have a beer in his hand as soon as he hit the ice bath. Was drinking liquor during the very interviews as well. Lot of stories of how much that team drank of team flights too. Decades of those habits don't die easily.

I bet, with a couple months of conditioning, MJ could still play with today's best. Maybe not near his all-time best, but they wouldn't run him off the court. . .

How long til artificial intelligence recreates players from different eras and Sims them playing against each other?
His last year was 20 years ago and he was already down from 30-37 ppg in his prime down to 20.0 when he retired. Add 20 years and he'd be lucky to score 2 or 3 buckets a game.

And that ain't a knock on him. 60 years old vs 20/30 somethings is just nuts.

Which school?

Miami has never had a real fanbase...they are and always have been a garbage program. I hope these dumb kids like getting their money, but playing for 10,000 bored people in somebody elses stadium.

I guess more money is everything to most people.
To be fair, I'd happily play in front of 10,000 puppies if I got paid $4 million to do it.

JC's scene, especially downtown, was so sad when I went to ETSU for a brief stint. Glad they're getting their ish together. Even saw a few nice breweries on the main strip last time we drove through.

They have all the outdoor amenities and a young college crowd to make for a great, vibrant mountain town.

Yeah. I came in 2001 and it wasn't a place I ventured. On the positive though I may not have graduated in four years had it been what it is now. Ha
