And that's fine by me.Media gets to watch stretching. They don’t know squadoosh.
Oh society, you're wild...feels like the schoolyard fights you'd see when you're 13 years old with everyone egging the fight on. And these people still have the same mentalities as those testosterone-filled ragey little 13 year olds. What an ass hat. You see a random fight and yell for him to get ****ed up. Nice.
A lot of people are taught that getting drunk is a key element to fun. Usually take many years to unlearn.
I like those VQ guys but unless it’s bad news or an injury I just don’t care what they have to say about the team anymore. And that's fine by me.
I'm honestly tired of every preseason being like, "WaRrEn BuRrElL lOOkS lIke ThE nExT dEiOn SanDErS" only for it to not mean crap.
I'm happy with just waiting and being surprised when the real thing rolls around. And with no QB battle...it means even less.
It bothers me how the growing thought of dealing with your own children is to escape them through alcohol. Probably doesn’t contribute to the next day being any better. What's amazing is when you realize how much fun you had as a kid, a teen, college student, even a young adult, dead sober. Then wonder when this lie crept in, as if you suddenly need to drink to have fun. Great marketing from the alcohol industry. Bravo. Even mothers, who need more support than anyone, are targeted with this "wine o clock" and "mommy juice" memetic marketing online. Sad
It used to be played just for touchdowns and turnovers. In recent years, it was also played for first downs and just about anything positive ‘cause…I get what you're saying but I think some of the younger kids and recruits have a different view of how much we repeat Rocky Top. I love that it means good things have happened but you have to admit that we wear it the hell out, especially in a Josh Heupel offense. I wonder if the band wishes that we would switch it up more? Any former POTS band members or parents of members have thoughts on this?
