Bingo. Wine is sold as a "stress and anxiety reliever" when actual research shows the aftereffect is merely more anxiety and stress. And how does one deal with that? Clearly some more wine the next day. Vicious cycle all built on a lie.

I wish I could say this was my first time letting my ambition get in the way of taking all the proper steps. Modding is so much easier now than it used to be and that made me lazy because most mistakes can be fixed easily these days when it would've been a nightmare before. It really does take a level of stupid to do what I did knowing what I know. I've broken installs before but this time it wasn't because mods can be written poorly or because I didn't know better - I did.

Now, I'm just talking myself into doing what I know I have to do even though I really, really don't want to.

Strawman. Not for prohibition, at all. Just for full transparency and understanding over clever marketing and lies from large corporations. Then each adult can make their own, honestly-informed decision. That's all. I still have a drink every blue moon the same as I have a cheeseburger once in a while and whitewafter raft once a year. Everyone should be allowed to take their own fully-informed, calculated, risks.

goodness the beach has really evened out. either that's down beat the inlet or farther toward bethune.

probably toward breakers and public beach?

beach was always heavily eroded, at an angle where we stayed. CoNSB had to dredge and replace sand after the hurricane ivan.

I really needed some good football news. Had to bury my dog that would have been 15 years old in October today. My daughter had to help me dig a grave deep enough for a German Shepherd because my husband had to work. It’s not been a good day.

Seriously, though, think most adults understand drinking to excess, especially while parenting, is not ok. Also think that splitting a bottle of wine with my wife at the end of a long day is not a big deal.

Sounds like I dont Vincent Van Know much about art.

It was the Van Goh exhibit at the High Museum. Always get Monet and Van Gosh confused. Anyway, was a pretty stupid mixup on my part, ridicule is well earn't.

I only know because I was assigned that painting for a report in Junior High…

The halo around each star was because of the digitalis that he took. Digoxin toxicity includes a side effect of a halo around lights. During this period in Van Gogh’s life, people took a plant (the Common Foxglove) that naturally produced digitalis. It also causes dilated pupils which was in fashion…

This same report about Van Gogh helped me figure out that a patient had digoxin toxicity (I was a medical student) the resident thought that she was just a regular Psychiatric patient, but she was very lucid. She mentioned that the lights looked really strange. I asked her how and she actually said halo. She was on digoxin for her heart. I convinced the resident to get a digoxin level. The patient had a toxic level and immediately got transferred to the cardiac intensive care. Received Digibind and got better quickly. I got pissed when the resident tried to take credit, but he knew none of the signs of digoxin toxicity (lazy and didn’t look them up…)

Yet another reason why I think that Tennessee is 15-0 this season.
