It's weird because AP has been optimistic about Bru and Hyatt, yet a few other sources have said Bru is out of shape and Hyatt still looks like he did last year.

I keep saying that too. I trust their development, anyway. I also trust that they will shift guys around to make the offense/team succeed, as evidenced by last year.

Crazy thing about Simmons is he was really good last yr before getting hurt early. There was a big difference when he was in there on run downs for sure. So that news was def a little shocking.

Could also be the difference in full pads and not. If you're just a monster/strength guy then non pad work in camp isn't going to make you "pop" if that makes sense.

For example Dylan is a speed RB, so he will look great in shorts and helmet. But when you put a guy like JWT in full pads and start hitting I'm sure he'll impress folks.

They're also doing what most fans would want them to do - share their access and experience. I don't think they're taking many liberties in regards to what they are seeing, just stating what they witnessed - dropped balls, more of the same.

I don't think they went out of their way to denigrate or praise any one player or position.

I think Hyatt is just that skinny. He needs to put on a lot to really notice. I don't think they knew about Btu needing to get in football shape and get healthy too.
