Overall I'm most excited by the DL going into this season.

Young with a full off-season, Baron in year 2 of RG grooming and looking to try and get NFL attention. Roman and the two new edge freshmen as well.

Eason, Bumphus, West, Big O, Bailey, Terry, Simmons, Garland, McNeil.... any combination could be big helps in the interior this year.

People who spent the last year bishing about him had better get used to it. Or they can wait until he is playing on Sundays. However they want to do it.

Not ready for that, he has to improve covering a TE or RB. But he is athletic enough for it. And he’s got a ton of experience now.

So hospice nurse wants us to go back to 2 visits a week based on what she's seeing and is also asking about if we wanted to discharge to explore any last options before coming back because she thinks a window might be closing in terms of things. If we did I'm not sure that we'd be told anything different and we're not 100 percent yet that leaving and returning is even an option. Gah. Just when I thought things were relatively stable. :(

2022 we signed Elijah herring and perry for inside LB
2023 we have Jalen smith and telander
Beasley could also return next year and heck banks technically could too. Not to mention the other players we return as well as the transfer portal. We have tons of outside linebackers too. Awful take

Banks is probably gone. I’d be surprised if he’s not a draft pick. The good thing re: LB is that this defense rarely has more than 2 on the field, so if you have 4 good ones, you should be okay.

We don’t really know if we’re gonna have depth issues there in 2023 until we see how the young guys develop. If Herring, Perry, and Mohan all develop this year and Beasley uses his Covid year (I do think he’ll be improved), they might have their 4 good ones and the freshmen can be 5 and 6. If not, they’ll need to get one or two from JUCO or the portal. Or another freshman who can play right away.

Muidats Dnalyen. I knew they would mess it up.

Evans was the twice player Payton was
Payton had some really nice plays last year. Just disappeared at times.

What really stands out to me in watching games last year was Velus. Man, he was a good one. Made some wild plays. Wish we could have kept him 1 more year. USC and VT are idiots for letting Velus and Hooker go. Well, and El Heup is a damn wizard.

There's not a single NFL player on the active 53 that makes just $36k a year...what a moronic tweet LOL

I mean it's more than being a practice squad player so I guess that's good, might keep some fringe junior players from declaring early if they can make as much or more than the practice squad of the NFL.

I’m hoping Hyatt can be this years Velus. I hope his hands have improved
