Obviously things have went quiet this afternoon. I’ve heard from a couple of sources that in Tennessee’s talks with Jeremy Pruitt, the potential of adding Hugh Freeze to his staff came up. The few people I spoke with said that it wasn’t shot down but there were definite reservations. Just something we are chasing this evening.

Obviously there is some chatter of an afternoon mystery candidate out there. We will keep digging to see if that is real and who it might be.

Being open 24hrs is a huge plus. Plus it’s on my drive home and they’re serving just love coffee now. It’s impossible that not stop by. Their baby sized apple fritters are the best thing you can get, but they go so fast.

Either this program matters or it doesn't. I guess that's what we are trying to figure out. This search has really put a spotlight on the hill and it's looking like the school we all grew up with truly is a shadow of it's former self. Makes me sad. Life will go on. I would have thought most coordinators would have jumped at the chance to quadruple their pay and be the Head Football Coach at UT. I'm wrong....we'll work around their priorities.

I really like what Barnes is doing these days and the guys on the b-ball team are some of the nicest young men you'll ever meet. Go Vols!
