OK, we are starting to see a really good pattern here. The best are listening and many are visiting. Close the deals - get better faster.

Hey, catching up from the past few days-- got salty seeing we lost our two QB's and one said he was basically told to look elsewhere, that they had someone coming in this weekend... who's the mystery QB and I am assuming they feel good about him to push two good QB's away??

Apparently JT Shrout from California. Kind of a late bloomer because of injuries early in his HS career. Big arm, but not great completion percentage and has thrown a lot of INTs. I'm no talent evaluator, but he seems like a he has the tools to be coached up. Probably a high ceiling/low floor type of prospect.


There's also been a little about us possibly pursuing Jack West or Emory Jones. Seems a lot more speculative with those two than with Shrout, though.

Hopefully someone on staff is seeing hidden gold in Shrout and/or feeling good about making a run at Emory or stealing a Lawrence, because pushing two really good QB's away isn't looking good right now... Neither of our QB's have "it" right now to step up... I actually like McBride and that should scare everyone.

yeah, look at JG-- he was supposed to be the second coming and looked like a deer in headlights most of the season... hopefully this offseason he matures and is able to improve tremendously...

Pruitt must have a lot of faith in the new TE coach. Sent him to see two stud corners and #1 juco TE. Both corners are now visiting and don't know yet in the TE. We may have a future star in recruiting on hand and had no clue who he was.
