Forgive me if y'all talked about this last night, but my brother told me that Dan Dakich made some comment last night about us during...a Villanova-Temple game: "Jeremy Pruitt got turned down for high school jobs a few years ago, now he's the head coach at Tennessee. Should be fun."

gives us a score of 262.48. That would have ranked 9th last year. Not saying we land all of these guys, but we will land several of them and if not all, hopefully some who are comparable. But there is a legit chance to finish inside the top 10. I have no doubt that we'll be inside the top 15 when it is all done if nothing else.

It's all relative, of course... but i would add that i think Pruitt's recruit "profile" is a little bit better than Butch's.

Arizona State AD calls out Tennessee's Phillip Fulmer, defends his own hire of Herm Edwards

Brent Dougherty talked about this on 104.5 in Nashville tonight. He called out the ASU AD's Twitter handle on air.

That's basically Brent standing up and calmly calling out, "Dracaris."

Exactly. ASU paid 12 million to get rid of a 7-5 coach; hired a coach who hasn't coached at the collegiate level since 1989; told Herm he had to keep the OC and DC; and then the DC left for "personal reasons".

Just goes to show. Dress up an idiot and pay him a lot of money, and you end up with a good looking rich idiot.
