But that doesn't help his current pay situation. It would impact his retirement a little. Just not sure that is a reason for him to make the move. If he makes the move I think there must be other motivations. Alabama does have a state income tax and Tennessee doesn't.

Whether he leaves or stays I doubt it has little to do with his retired pay. As others have said, he's already vested, but he can't start collecting it anytime soon.

And as I said before, state retired pay increases much quicker as your number of years in the system increases. Moving to another state starts him over. Collecting retired pay from 2 states, each with 10 years of service, wouldn't come close to equaling the amount from 1 state with 20 years of service.

But if he comes to UT, I would assume it would be for a lot higher salary, which would offset the retired pay.

He should've had at least 3000 by the time he left. With Dobbs opening up the run, AK could've easily rushed for 1500 each year but we had to satisfy Hurd's ego. So stupid.

Hurd was better than Kamara in 2015. The big eff up was not playing Kamara more in 2016 when he clearly became the better player.

Butch's bigger mistake was not utilizing BOTH at the same time in 2015 like Sean Payton is doing right now with Ingram and Kamara.

His contribution plus matching factor from employer are the only things that matter. He is 100% vested and has no reason to stay unless he wants to.
