I don't think anything puts you more "on the scene" than leading your team to an overtime comeback win in the national championship game. I'm not hating on Fromm I think he's a solid player but Tua is going to put up video game numbers next year... the rich get richer once again at Alabama, not to mention Naji Harris is going to dominate the run game.

He got exposure last night, no doubt. I think what Fromm has done over a true freshman season carries more weight than 1/2 of a football game. GA is not going to be short on talent next year either. It's jmo. I understand you having a different one.

How are you so impressed over a 16/32 230yd performance with two interceptions. And -17 rush yards.

There was only one qb that demonstrated Heisman ability last night and it wasn't Fromm.

I'm not short sighted enough to just look at one half of a football game.

So does that 1/2 of football over shadow a whole year of what Fromm has accomplished?

The Heisman talk for Fromm is extremely premature. Fromm benefited from having two incredible running backs and senior laden team.

Compare him to Mayfield who one this year. It should not be a direct comparison but yards per game stands out.

Fromm
62.2% completion percentage
174.3 yards per game

vs

Mayfield (Heisman Winner)
70.5%
330.5 yards per game

I’m not sold on Fromm from a Heisman level but he definitely impressed me the last few games and showed he’s a good QB.

As they should.

A big factor in your reaction to an event is geography. I live in Georgia. I absolutely couldn't have handled it if Georgia had won that game last night.

Don't get it twisted, I hate Alabama with an unholy passion. But it's different when you are faced with the prospect of grown ass adults "woofing" at each other all over town. From my geographic location, that game last night couldn't have ended any better!

100% agree. So glad I don’t have to listen to them over the next few years. Don’t think I have seen one flag flying on a car all day. It’s great!

I'm not short sighted enough to just look at one half of a football game.

His numbers still don't come anywhere close to Lamar Jackson or Johnny Manziel..... other heisman winners who won year 2.

2600 yards with 62% completion percentage isn't bad by any means, but it's not heisman worthy.

So I'm just curious as to where that opinion comes from.

He's only thrown for 3+ TDs one time, and that was against Samford, in which he threw 3. He's not a run threat whatsoever.

I mean, shoot, Aaron Murray had nearly identical stats to Fromm his first year.... Except Murray had 400 more pass yards and less games.

Apparently I'm not the only one that feels this way, by a sizable margin. Lol

Would put 100 on Tug.

Also that 10/1 for Fromm is just to create a lot of action for very little risk.

Vegas is smart.

Same.

Bama will start the season #1, Tug will put up crazy numbers and be the best offensive player on the best team. We’ve all seen this story before.

I am just glad that the Georgia fan with the seegar that they showed during the 80 yard TD pass most likely did not get a chance to smoke it.
