If somebody can’t win two in a row this series.

Hopefully Thursday is the first.

I don't claim to be a hockey expert but it's so odd to me to watch these games and it is pretty to clear to me which team has the energy, speed and mo jo in each game and it's been a different team each game. Seems illogical to me

You might want to keep working a lot because if the predators lose to the Jets I’m about to have a ton of memes to work with.

You going?

I bet lowest prices will be at least 250-300 a ticket. Don’t think I can swing that right now but I’m gonna keep my eyes open. If it’s a nice night though I’ll probably just go downtown for watch party. I’ve been to a game 7 before and I can tell you it’s one of the greatest experiences, especially if you end up on the right side of the scoreboard.

My job has a luxury box that they put up for $400 for 2 tickets. First come first serve in the morning. I’m going to work early tomorrow.

I've been out of commission for three days with a trip to the ER for a kidney stone and (eventually) surgery to remove it. You guys are still beating this NBA GOAT discussion to death. :)

It's all opinion man. Anybody who frames their opinion as fact is foolish. I started watching NBA basketball in 1977. My favorite players were Dr. J and Bernard King. I saw the Bird/Magic transformation and Jordan's impact. I lived through the boring-ass Detroit Piston years of the late 80's and early 90's and saw Shaq as a skinny rookie. There were some really really great, dominate players through the years.

I like the NBA. It's a fun product to watch. But comparing players across generations who played different positions is crazy. Jordan was a transformational player. But so was Bird. And Lebron. And Shaq. And Kareem. All great players and all worthy of Goat consideration -- depending on your favorite team and alliances.

Also, don't sell me this 'He's a bad person' argument when talking about Lebron. NBA players are notoriously bad human beings. Jordan is a philandering *******. Same for Bird and Kareem. I think Barkley bet on games he played in. And all of the screwed every girl they could find in every city they stopped. None of them are angels so let's drop that crap.

I was just talking with my brother about this topic. I told him to forget all of this Goat BS. I framed it like this: Who are the players who's size/skill set/drive/whatever is/was so unique, you'd have to create them from scratch (ii.e there just aren't any players like them)? I came up with Bird, Lebron, and Magic. I was on the fence with Curry. He's such a great shooter, there's nobody ever with his range and stats. But there have been lots of great shooters in history. He just happens to be the best. Jordan doesn't weigh into this assessment, either. There were lots of 'Jordans' before and after him (Dr J, David Thompson, Clyde Drexler, Dwayne Wade, yada yada yada). He just happened to be the best.

My brother had an interesting player who may get there if his career holds out --- the Greek Freak. His size/skill combination is ridiculous.

YES! Giannis is my favorite player in the league and I think he’s the next stud

The pro lebron team always say that Jordan didn’t face any good teams in the finals but what about the 90-91 lakers? They were 5x champs and everyone was in their prime when they played the bulls. Magic was 31, James worthy was 29, Sam Perkins, Byron Scott, vlade divac. This was a really good team that like the rest of the teams the bulls faced in the final looked average. The 91-92 trailblazers were a really good team too.
