All I’m saying is there are dozens of sub-forums on VN dedicated to off topic discussions, let alone an actual Off topic thread.

I’d personally like to read convos or have discussions about the team, without visiting to the weird FF. And there simetimes are quality articles or blurbs from TOS posted itt, but you have to scroll through countless cereal posts just to get to them.

If you can’t understand how that could be an annoyance to someone, and my slight gripe warrants your edgy disdain, then so be it.

That thread is where the mods dump OT conversations from other threads. People don't usually start conversations there. Also, they don't catch everything w/o our help. So if you see a thread going off topic, click the report button and say "Hey mods, this convo is taking the thread OT" or w/e and they will magically move all those posts to the OT thread.

Okay. But by its labeling - it gives the impression the off topic thread is for off topic discussion. And this thread is for general football discussions maybe not directly related to an individual recruit, etc.

So if we discuss if potato salad is really a salad in the Ramel Keyton thread, then it gets moved. But that discussion in the football thread is perfectly fine?

Anyone attend the Big Orange Caravan in ATL yesterday? I've seen a few posters on VQ and 247 say that Pruitt spoke about Trey Smith and said he's ready to go and will be back this fall playing football. Huge.

It is the freakin offseason man..even with all the OT stuff there aren't 150 posts a day in this thread sometimes. Is it that freakin hard to scroll? You guys get my disdain because you are being whiny little gripy butts.

We can manage the player threads a bit easier. So those off topic conversations get moved. And, like Ron said, it helps that people tend to report those conversations.

I'd personally rather this thread be football only, and all the off topic go in the off topic thread, but I'm open to the will of the people.
