It is the freakin offseason man..even with all the OT stuff there aren't 150 posts a day in this thread sometimes. Is it that freakin hard to scroll? You guys get my disdain because you are being whiny little gripy butts.

Read my posts on the topic. I’m calm and rational.

Read your responses to my posts on the topic. You come off like a “whiny little gripy butt.”

Your logic is there’s not a lot of football stuff to discuss because it’s the offseason. Gotcha.

No, it’s not too hard to scroll.

Is it too hard to exit this thread and have your cereal Labron convo in the off topic thread?

I digress. Carry on.

Anyone attend the Big Orange Caravan in ATL yesterday? I've seen a few posters on VQ and 247 say that Pruitt spoke about Trey Smith and said he's ready to go and will be back this fall playing football. Huge.

I wasn't there, so I'm not sure what he said last night... but Trey has been cleared to work out with the team and has been doing voluntary workouts with other players for several weeks. Technically, they're not all that voluntary-- players who intend to be on the field next fall are "encouraged" to take advantage of the new weight room every day.

All the players who sat out the spring are expected to be ready to go this fall, including Trey. With the new guys coming in and expecting to contribute, it won't be the same team we saw this spring.

I don't think Carvin RSs. I think he may have a TS type impact at OG this year. That boy came to play..

Definitely depends big time on who we get back healthy and whether we add the kid from Bama or not. If he makes it in and we get everybody healthy, I definitely don’t see Carvin starting. He could still add depth and contribute on STs though.

If we have bad luck with injuries agains, I agree there’s no way he gets a RS.

JG is going to remind everyone why he was Tom Herman and Urban Meyer’s top Qb target 👀

He definitely flashed some in the spring game. He made a few throws I didn’t think he was capable of.

I don’t have a rooting interest between KC or JG. Just hope the best man wins.

If he works hard over the summer, by the time practice is over I think he could be ready to start. I just don't see anybody not named Trey Smith that is much better than him.

Not being able to give most of our OL a chance to RS and focus on S&C has been a huge factor in perpetuating our struggles on the OL IMO.

i agree, i was being sarcastic.

at this point given the state of our OL the last few years, a RS for an OL seems like some far off luxury that we seem incapable of achieving.

Oooofffffsssseeeeaaaassssoooonnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!! Quitcha*****in. 😉 This thread is dead now without off topic stuff, so just go somewhere else till practice starts. The FF is always looking for more jerks..😁

If I'm going then I'm taking you with me. They need someone that is a professional "Quitter" labeler over there. 😉

I don't know why, but I'm ready to see this new OL we will have. New names, same names...all are going to look extremely different now that there is an actual coach coaching them up (who also happens to be good at what he does) and with an actual s&c program (with a coach who is great at what he does). It's mauling time!

Cox Media announcing that they’re shutting down SEC Country (among other sites). Going to be a lot of writers shuffling. Hate it for everybody but Mike Griffith. :)
