The defining greatness of Jordan is that he made his teammates look great just by playing with him. Pippen was a great complementary talent but couldnt carry that Bulls team that only lost Jordan to the Finals in his absence. Horace Grant did his defense and rebounds thing for Orlando...no title. Rodman played for a number of other organizations but got his only titles with teams that had great players (Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars with the Pistons) he could play off of and who had the leadership to assimilate his oddities. He skipped practices with the Bulls and that doesnt fly without Jordan signing off. Bet Lebron wouldnt. Luc Longley, John Paxson, Steve Kerr, Will Perdue, Bill Cartwright, Bill Wennington, DICKEY SIMPKINS? All bit players that hang around a roster. The only players that could have been mainstays as PART of a NBA championship roster are Pippen, Toni Kukoc and Rodman. None do it without a generational player like Jordan. And that those names are part of TWO three-peats is another nod to Jordan. And Jordan returned from a BROKEN FOOT and dragged a 30-52 team that boasted Civil War era basketball legends Artis Gilmore and Iceman Gervin into the playoffs against one of the greatest teams in NBA history and threw up 63 (averaged 43) in the second game which still hasnt been broken. Seen both and know whats better.
