That’s anyone’s guess...Pruitt was pretty clear in the spring that he wasn’t gonna praise anyone. I think Tim Jordan could be the guy. It’s gonna be a committee.

Exactly. And that's not an easy offense for our defense to try and stop first time out. That being said, if we do win that game, I'm on board with the 8-9 wins people.

Don't know if this qualifies as a "huge surprise" but I think Blakely is going to factor into the equation at both TE and FB this fall. Sounds like he's had a strong summer, fits what the staff is looking for physically.

Jordan did run stronger in the Spring Game. That's for sure. Chandler might be your speed guy when you need some big yards instead of your every down back.

The biggest surprise honestly to me will be Thompson on Defense. I don't think they will be able to keep him off the field. I think he is a first game starter.

UK is a much more likely win than Mizzou, IMO.

Was just thinking about both him and Taylor being added to Warrior, Shamburglar, Buchanan, Abernathy and TKjr. Hopefully Osborne Jackson and Gray can be solid contributors too

I think Alontae will be hard to keep off the field as well. Thompson is the bigger surprise to me though since he came in late.

You penciling in a loss to Kentucky??

Exactly. And that's not an easy offense for our defense to try and stop first time out. That being said, if we do win that game, I'm on board with the 8-9 wins people.

IMO if we beat WVU, then we probably go 4-0 in September and go into the Mizzou game 6-4. If we get to that point, then yeah I think we could win 8 easily.


The most difficult challenge Pruitt may face though is whether he can keep upperclassmen focused and bought in if we start out 2-2. Some of those guys might start thinking more about their NFL future than whether we get to go to the Liberty Bowl at that point.

Yea his role will increase... if he can stay healthy which he should. The guy deserves it, he has worked his butt off this summer. He likes Coach Pruitt a lot.
