If this is all Helton has, which I am hoping is not the case, then color me not impressed. I know we have to wait until Pruitt gets his kids in so that they can run their offense, but not digging his inability to adapt his O plan to the kids he currently has.

Did you not watch the SC game last week? Helton called a great game. We were up 21-9 halfway thru the 3rd Q before the defense couldn't stop SC's running game.

How? We've upgraded practice facilities and locker rooms, built a brand new NFL-caliber workout room, we have the country's top recruiting budget and the Thornton Center is among the nation's best. I agree with you about the stadium renos, but unless we hire new coaches or buy players, I don't see how we can spend more to win more.

According to this article (Which schools spend the most on college football? Where does Syracuse rank?), Tennessee was only 26th in football spending nationally, barely spending half as much as Alabama spends.

Lane is in the perfect spot for him in Boca. There is no way in Hades that he ever returns to UT. If he leave the FAU, it's because he's taking a Power 5 job somewhere.

I don't want Lane here but he is really struggling this season in Boca. He isn't having the success he needs to get another Power 5 job imo. He might want out there

So... Kiffin becomes OC at a school where he was once HC, backing up a HC who has less HC experience than he does, and Hurts transfers to back up JG and compete for a bowl game instead of backing up Tua and competing for another national championship. No commentary on Urbie's brain cysts?

But Alabama makes much more. It's kind of the chicken or the egg debate. Once you start really winning, then your revenues go up, which allow you to spend more. Someone else, knows more about athletic department budgets, can speak on this, but thy are non profit and essentially spend the money that comes in.

Yes of course I watched the game... but that is what is was, one game... Hey, he is our best option right now, and like I said, I am hoping we see more diversity once he gets his own kids in here. Up until the SC game, running it up the middle on every first and second down, then throw on third, was not exactly lighting the field up...

Wait, what?

I can't say I like Kiffin but if he did come back as OC I wouldn't hate the move. I'm not 100% sold on Helton, and Kiffin can coach offense, say anything else you want about him but you have to admit he can coach an offense. I don't know why he would be looking to leave FAU though he had some success down there last year

Sapp isn’t getting a third of the reps that DK is, in the SC game Sapp made the very first 2 tackles and didn’t play anymore until the 3rd defensive series. DK isn’t the same, Bituli is still learning and Ignot has a lot to catch up on. This group needs to make the proper adjustments IF we are wanting to see a Bowl Game, post season.
Yeah, I'm not getting the lack of reps for Sapp-- the kid finds the ball and is faster than DK and Bituli...

sapp has been up and down all year. he's flashed big time ability, and then sometimes he just disappears.

it's like a broken record, but it's true, this team's lack of consistency is it's biggest problem.

I'm a teller of the truth. Duke, Kansas, Virginia, and I'd argue Gonzaga are all better right now IMO. Kentucky is still Kentucky as well. We'll see.

heck, Nathan Peterman is on an NFL roster and started games.

and i think JG has been better than Peterman in college up to this point....

Another crazy stats i saw. Peterman has thrown an INT on 11% of his passes. In order for Tom Brady to have 11% of his passes be INTs he would have to throw 1000 straight picks lol.
