what's funny is that no one has said TN WILL make the final four.

just that they should be/could be capable of it, and that it's hard to do cause alot of what goes in to it (seeding, brackets etc...) are out of your control.

and it turned in to this ish show....usual suspects involved. nothing to see here.

Can’t wait until this board melts down after our first loss just like last year. Shoot, it’ll probably be after our first close win this year.

“We may not win an SEC game” “well start 0-7 in the SEC” “we aren’t making the tourney”

and my personal favorite “no chance we are a top 5 seed” during the final couple games of the regular season😂

Some love talking in absolutes and then bragging about it.

The nun-witch doesn't have enough dark power to make us lose

I'm a teller of the truth. Duke, Kansas, Virginia, and I'd argue Gonzaga are all better right now IMO. Kentucky is still Kentucky as well. We'll see.
Yes because that determines who makes the final four, right? Virginia, Loyola Chicago, Michigan, Xavier, ect says hi

Our Basketvols are NOT making the final four, but hopefully they will improve all season and be in the thick of it finally during the tourney... We haven't proved enough or been consistent enough to merit these types of rankings and statements... We have some talent, but we had it last year too and it was hot and cold most of the season. It will have to get to the next level of consistency if we deserve a top 10-15 ranking.
It’s no coincidence the two people that liked this are the two people that melted down after our first SEC loss last year

If this is all Helton has, which I am hoping is not the case, then color me not impressed. I know we have to wait until Pruitt gets his kids in so that they can run their offense, but not digging his inability to adapt his O plan to the kids he currently has.
I'd have to disagree with that. An analogy:

I'm disappointed because a guy is unable to adapt his plan for a lavish lifestyle to the job he currently has (fry guy at McDonald's). We can't run the football! He's literally got one arm tied behind his back and trying to contend in heavyweight fights week-in and week-out.

I disagree. Helton’s offense looked very different against SCar and it worked. Behind a motley crew of undermatched linemen.... that was a good performance.

Another crazy stats i saw. Peterman has thrown an INT on 11% of his passes. In order for Tom Brady to have 11% of his passes be INTs he would have to throw 1000 straight picks lol.
I think I saw yesterday that over like the last 10 years, Brady has thrown more TD passes IN Buffalo than any Buffalo QB has.

Anyone else realize our 2017 commit who never came, Marquez Bembry, is a Kentucy commit out of JUCO? I was looking at their class because I was wondering how good it might be, considering UK is having one of their better football seasons in a long long time. Despite the good season, it's still a pretty mediocre class.

Yeah they’re still Kentucky.

Although I think I saw they built a pretty awesome new football facility.

Except that Gonzaga's best player is out for 8 weeks.
I'm a huge Gonzaga fan. This is not accurate. Tillie is probably their 3rd best player. His absence will definitely make the Tennessee game more competitive than it likely would have been. I think Tennessee is rightly ranked about #5. Gonzaga and Tennessee share a similarity that the other top teams don't, which is a very experienced group who have played together for years. I'm really excited for this upcoming season because my two favorite teams have realistic NC chances.

The four "best" teams never all make the Final Four. Team is definitely capable of making it or getting bounced early. March is about match ups.

Fulmer talking about Neyland renovations

Speech and Pathology was supposed to have their own building years ago, but it was scrapped because other buildings were being built. I wouldn't doubt that Curry would've kicked them out with no where to go for the renovations if he could've.
As the husband of a speech and language pathologist, I approve this message.

Well, I almost put "arguably" in there, but it's kind of splitting hairs. While they are like UT in that they have balanced scoring, he was the returning scorer at 13 PPG and 6 RPG and 48% from 3 point range. He was a pre-season all conference selection. He may not have the highest pro potential, but it is a loss early for a team that has to play a competitive non-conference schedule.
