I apologize, JV; I don't like to give wrong info or mis-quote or mis-inform. Forgive me, man. I should've went back and checked what you said before I passed on your info.

No problem. Just trying to keep it straight. I might’ve even typed it wrong. Was at the game.

It’s not unlike every DB coach Alabama has had over the past few years. Saban and Pruitt were the DB coaches.

Fair is a good recruiter and as long as he’s meshing with the staff and can take the semi-ego hit of being the 3rd voice at the position I think he’ll stick around.
If I was Fair I'd probably be looking around tbh. I know it's Tennessee but if I'm hired to coach db's, I don't want to be a third voice.

He only attempted 15 against Iowa state in the loss. Was 11/15

If there is ever evidence for a game that was bought in vegas that one would be first on my list to examine
15?!? That’s insane, didn’t realize that. Was it because ISU just dominated the TOP so WVU ran very little plays or what?

It's ridiculous how good Vegas is. They've had me to the point of believing that some of it is fixed, but then I come back down to earth and realize that's bull butter.

How it has taken an NFL Coach this long to realize CP needs to get backfield touches amazes me

I know he had a little bit of that in Minnesota but needs more imo
Heck Dooley had Patterson in the backfield at Tennessee. Say what you want about him, but his offenses always found ways to get the ball to the best players.

Does this explain how bad our defensive player's are ???

Against Bama in 2016, it seemed like Hurts ran right around the edge on us for a big gain on every single play. They interviewed Shoop after the game, and they asked him why we couldn’t stop Hurts. If I remember correctly, he said something like “probably strength and conditioning.” I didn’t think much of it at the time, but after some things have come out, sounds like he was already voicing some concerns about how Jones ran things.

(who's the second voice?)

Tangent: Maybe, just maybe, it'd be nice to have continuity within a coaching staff, particularly in the first year or two, before we start writing these guys off. I know that's crazy talk, but we have only seen 3/4 of a season of them working largely with someone else's recruits.

How is Chattanooga? Thinking about moving there in the next couple of years when my daughter gets out of middle school.

Born and raised in Chatttown. lived in Nacogdoches, TX, Dallas,TX and Virginia Beach VA. and moved back home about 5 years ago. The best place to live economically, and location. More bang for your buck on housing and taxes. jmo of course. Went to Hixson and played football when we actually had good teams. Love it here. Now live in Harrison near The Bear Trace Golf course.
