That was honestly the undoing of butch. Shoop didn’t like butch from day 1.

He probably quickly realized Butch has a elementary knowledge of Xs and Os and was way out of his league.

Wasn’t proximity to family Shoops primary reason for making the move to Knoxville?

I probably missed it but have you clarified why you think Helton will leave

I think Helton and Pruitt just aren’t really meshing similar to shoop and butch

And Kelly works a lot with safeties, pruitts bread and butter is Corners and that’s why i think fair is the odd man out and will look else where.

I knew about Fair. Said he probably feels like a GA.

Saying that about Helton and Pruitt I wonder if that affects the Offense like it did with the Defense with Butch and Shoop.

It's explains how much of an idiot Butch is when it came to micromanaging
I agree butch was an idiot but shoop has been successfully were ever he's been. Our players get pushed around by everyone. They are doing better this year, maybe because little more strength and condition has helped some what. Really unbelievable

It’s amazing that our last three coaches just soaked the program in gasoline and threw a match behind them as they walked out.

Kiffin recruited tons of busts and got us on probation

Dooley failed to recruit a single OL in 2012

And Jones tanked strength and conditioning to the point that it will take years to fully recover

The perfect storm. Only thing left is to get a major NCAA violation.

Been talk all week about the deck being stacked in Bama's favor, and I had a thought to share, see what you guys and gals think.

I think we all can agree that Tua is probably going to win the Heisman this year, right? And I'm not saying that he shouldn't...it's just not as cut and dry as the media and all the Bama lovers (Finebaum, Danielson, etc) try and convince us that it is. They've pumped Tua ever since he threw that TD in the championship game...and all the merrier, he plays for Bama.

They have shoved and shoved him down our throats all year long. Since the championship game, he was going to win the Heisman, NO MATTER WHAT. And say what you will about the Heisman Trophy, I know I do (it stopped being anything to take serious the moment Paul Hornung won it over Johnny Majors); however, it's still pub, prestige, hardware to add to a program.

As I said, I'm not saying Tua shouldn't win it...all I'm saying is, no one else has even been given a fair chance. If Tua and Kyler Murray switched schools, Kyler Murray would be the front runner. If Tua and Will Grier switched schools, Will Grier would be the front runner.

Coming into season, we all heard that Will Grier was a Heisman Trophy candidate...now, he may be mentioned, but there's no way he is going to win it. Why? What has he done to lose it? Absolutely nothing! He just doesn't play for Bama...same goes for Murray.

Compare:
Tua: 68% of his passes, for 2,361 yds, 27 TDs, and 1 INT

Grier: 69% of his passes, for 2,618 yds, 28 TDs, and 7 INTs.

Before you say: 'well, Tua has hardly played in the 4th quarter this year'...Will Grier has played in one less game.

Now, before some say: 'what about their legs, their rushing'. Yes, Tua has better rushing #'s than Grier...which brings me to Kyler Murray.

Compare Tua's passing stats to Murray's. Tua's mentioned above.
Murray: 70% of his passes, for 2,689 yds, 31 TDs, and 5 INTs. His passing #'s are better in every way, and...

Rushing:
Tua: 29 carries for 172 yds (5.9 ypc), and 3TDs.

Murray: 82 carries for 574 yds (7 ypc), and 7 TDs.

Again, I'm not saying Tua doesn't deserve it...all I'm asking is, why hasn't Will Grier, and especially Kyler Murray, been shoved and shoved down our throats like Tua has? Yes, Bama is #1; but WV and OK are 15-2 combined.

Idk, maybe I'm alone in this...
Grier has 70 more attempts. Murray has about 30, but I agree Murray should be getting more talk.
