Tornado touched down in south Murfreesboro/Christiana and last I heard, at least one house is gone. It's about a quarter mile from where I am currently working so I will post again later if I hear more or can get over there after work.

Edit: Damnit...1 killed, 2 injured.

The house where the lady died was flipped completely off of its foundation and landed on its roof. It was a full-on house, not a trailer. It is three miles from my house. The tornado hit and destroyed several other houses and quite a few barns and out buildings. One of those barns was 1000 feet from my house.

We spent a few minutes in a closet. No damage, but the whole front of our neighborhood had debris. I spent a few minutes this morning picking up insulation and roofing material from my yard.

I feel very fortunate but also sad for the lady. I didn't know her but it sounded like she was well-liked. And far too young at 41.

Eh, not really. It’s Bama then everyone else. Take away Bama and it’s a few teams at the top and a competitive conference. With Bama it’s a forgone conclusion.

Can easily do the same with all the other power 5 conferences. Take away Clemson, Oklahoma, Ohio State, etc. and what's left isn't better than the SEC minus Bama. It's just not. Sure, it's closer than it was 10 years ago but it's still SEC>all.

Not sure I agree. OSU? At least there is some doubt on who will win between them and Michigan. Purdue smoked them. Oklahoma? It was a nailbiter with Texas.

We have manufactured competiveness on a game where Bama went into the #3 team in the nation’s house and shut them out without the game ever being in serious doubt.

Bama will dismantle UGA and cruise to another NC. I hate it, but it’s reality. The SEC, and to a larger degree college football, is predetermined and boring now.

I've survived a couple of them. Stay safe.

So you can't name one?

Big 10 has more parity and is more competitive. OSU is the best team? Purdue ran them off the field. Michigan May very well best them.

And that all with OSU probably running 75% of the SEC teams off the field.

All I’m saying is the SEC is boring. Honestly, is there any doubt who the best team in the SEC is? Is it even close, or even worth watching? It’s a race for second, nothing more.

Many social issue discussions turn political and should probably be avoided if that's the case. If you're unsure, post about one of these previously approved topics: sports, coffee, beer or dog poop. Hope that helps.

I posted a photo and a comment earlier in response to a comment - looked at my alerts to see if it got moved to politics thread and all the likes and quotes have disappeared from my alerts...?

Yes Utah would lose to s Carolina. Vandy almost beat notre Dane who people have in playoff. Ky is top 12. Ms st is ranked. Ole miss spanked tx tech yet tx tech giving big 12 powers fits.

People say this crap every yr about sex being top heavy. It only appears that way because everyone beats up on each other based on matchups. Then come bowl season sec always shows it's still king. You just try to be on opposite end of every topic lately I'm sensing a trend
Happens every year
