No way we land all these guys. You guys and gals have followed recruiting long enough to know that. I’m sure we nab a few though. No doubt in my mind this will be a great class. I’m sure CBS/247 and Yahoo/Rivals execs are very much pumping Tennessee any chance they get because we’re a big slice of their pie.

Yeah I hate to be a Debbie downer but lets temper our enthusiasm. I remember last year there was a poll started that had 10 4 star or better players, and people were to vote for which ones they thought would be Vols. Some people voted for like 4-5-6 guys on that list, and literally none of them signed with us.

Say we land Burrell, Fields, and Watson...and 1 or 2 of them come in and step up as true freshmen the way Taylor and Thompson have, prove they can play as freshmen...you guys and gals see maybe Thompson getting moved to offense, or maybe Taylor? I don't see it happening with Taylor; but, even though he looks like a star in the making at CB, I can maybe see a possibility of Thompson moving to O. We need playmakers and speed on O, and Thompson fits the bill. From his HS tape, that kid needs the ball in his hands.

Before someone pounces, I'm well aware of how crazy it sounds moving someone to another position when they're ballin' out at another...it's just a thought, and it's happened before.

There's no way I'd do it. Elite corners are more valuable than wide receivers.

Besides, I think giving Murphy another year in the system, plus adding Khafre/Payton and Keyton.... Palmer coming back... DWA another year, hopefully Eric Gray to go along with Ty Chandler, etc we'll have some weapons on offense.

We need a complete overhaul in the secondary. Looks like we have three pieces in Taylor, Flowers, and Thompson. I'd keep that growing with our incoming freshman class and let them all develop together.

I copy image and paste it in the post thingy. It worked for a while but now it doesn't and some of the recruits pictures are blocked also. I reported to Freak I believe he is working on it but if you have any suggestions would love to hear them.

I've had difficulty with some gifs. Giphy causes me more problems than my of them. I usually copy the link in the box inside the image icon. If t doesn't work it will give some error that says contact the system administrator. I think it has to do with some are links to links to links.

To be fair, last year the season sort of crashed and burned. Who know how many we'd have if the year went better and Butch hadn't got the boot?

I had never included a gif until the upgrade and, knock on wood, I've had no problems and have only used Giphy.

1 - Open the gif in Giphy.

2 - Copy the gif link.

3 - Open my post on VN.

4 - Copy the gif link into the link (chain thingy) icon/box.

5 - Hit the post reply button.

As I said, I'd never done a gif before the upgrade and have only used Giphy thus far. And I can be a bit impatient...mostly as a result of goofing off on VN at work. :cool:

I've done that numerous times and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I think some are links to links to links.... If you click on the image, someti es it takes you to another page, then click it again it takes you to another site all together. This happens primarily on Giphy.

Instead of copying the link, try saving the image, and then when you click on the little icon with the mountain or whatever it is and it says drop image here, tap on that and choose to select a photo from your photo library. The GIF should be there. Choose it and it will drop where you want it. That is how I do my gifs, because I had some problems as well.

Well, I haven't experienced that as yet. Guess it will be something I'll have to look forward to...:rolleyes:
