To be fair, I was sitting in the opposite end zone, and I and everyone else in that section just knew it was Jennings that made the catch until it showed on Jumbotron.

When a catch like that is made, it’s sort of natural to assume it was The Dawg that caught it.

I was sitting in the end zone where it happened and clearly saw Callaway catch it. We get back to the car and have the radio on and they played Keslings call of it and we all started doubting ourselves. I was thinking to myself, maybe it was tipped and I just didn’t see it.

Can anyone tell me what our updated defensive ranking is? The improvement from last year is very evident and has been keeping us in games.

Depends on what metric you are using, but ESPN has us 37th in defensive efficiency.

2) attempting the Hail Mary instead of running a short 5-10yard route and kicking a fg.



Imo I think punting was good coaching. It was going to be a defensive day and that was a good conservative decision.


Imo the Hail Mary was really dumb and really lucky. I thought we should have run a short route, called our last TO and kicked a FG. If we throw an incomplete pass throw the Hail Mary on the next play. 6 seconds is plenty of time for that.

Those two decisions in the game are worth discussing and would have been discussed a lot more if the game had been close.

It's the game within the game kind of talk and I am curious if others saw it like I did. I can assure you the 12 people I watched the game with thought punting was dumb as hell. I almost got in a fight defending the decision
