Has Hubbs lost his mind?

He just said that Kentucky was a great matchup for us because their QB doesn't like to run.

Hell aren't his legs his best feature?
According to his logic, Missouri should be an even better match up for us. However, I believe his logic is flawed.

Love the game from the BB team tonight.

They weren’t firing on all cylinders and still cruised to a win.

This is a game that could have been lost in years past.

The team will improve and start to gel.

Watch out.

I agree... Definitely didn't look like a top 5 team or final four team like folks have predicted, but if they continue to gel and improve in these first games and learn to play at a higher level week in and week out, we should be doing some serious damage by mid/late season.

Has 400 yardss rushing but doesn't like to run? Maybe his misspoke. It was a good
Matchup for us imo because he can't pass consistently so they are one dimensional. Our staff has shown that with this group of players we can stop 1 dimensional offenses especially those that can only run.

I'm curious to see how we handle Mizzu. Tough matchup imo but an interesting test to see just how much our young secondary has grown up.

it is tougher than Kentucky simply because they have a lot more balance offensively. but if what we did from a pass rush stand point last weekend holds up, that will help us this weekend. the key is 1st down defense. if they're in 2nd and short a lot, that's bad.

conversely.....i think we have a pretty good match up against their defense. our WR's should win more times than not against their DB's and safties. so if we can protect a little bit, i think we'll be able to find some windows to throw thru.

i actually think this may be a bit of a shoot out. i picked it 37-32 us. i think Cimaglia is important this weekend too. he's been better over the course of hte season than their kicker. who's kicked A LOT. they've had stretched where htey struggle in the red zone or drives stall out. lack of space is their enemy. i could see this game being a "bend don't break" type of game from our defense.

if we win the turnover battle or it's even, i think we can definitely win this game. i view MO as a poor man's WVU. so i'm a little interested to see how we match up now vs. what we looked like back in Sept.

I don’t love the matchup with Missouri but it is November and I haven’t shaved.

We got this.
yeah, drew lock, their WR's and that damn running back (who's shredded us the past couple years) should get everyone's attention.

but i do think this is a very winnable game. this may be one game on the schedule where it's up to JG to go win it.

Oh by the way I have reported everyone of you to Sugar 85 for talking basketball in RF. I felt it was my Vol duty. I told him I tried to get you guys to stop. But you all have been reported. But I love ya guys. :D
I’m fixin to go scorched earth up in here if the behavior does not improve

Their defense is terrible and they are without their TE and he is their go to guy. It will test their defense but I think our offense will torch them.

Who was the TE that was committed here in 16 or 17. Ended up at La tech I think. His dad also posted on here a lot.
Chase Rogers, from MS. Signed with La Lafayette.

edit: looks like he was 2017 Third-Team All-Sun Belt Conference , but hasnt played this year. I believe he's hurt.

Has anyone ever ever sat in section AA at Neyland? I am wanting to go to the game sat with 3 other family members but 4 total tickets are a bit high for lower section. So has anyone sat in AA looks like it is a different type of seat (not club though). I sat in zz15 last weekend how do they compare to that

If he was a better actor in Creed...I would have really liked it too, but his performace was so horrid it almost totally ruined the movie for me.

I've heard that he does a lot better job in 2, so I will give him the Botd. As much as I didn't like his performance in BP...admittedly it was better than in Creed...Now that I think about it, maybe it was just some residual loathing from Creed that makes his turn in BP seem worse to me than it really is.

I seriously hated his performance in Creed...I made fun of him for weeks after I watched it...
His acting reminds me of the acting on those terrible shows on the CW like Vampire Diaries. He looks like he is acting, not like we are peeking in on an actual event. Does that make sense? it's like community theater acting. Fake and you can tell it's fake

Sat in AA for UF in 2016 and nearly had a heat stroke (don’t think you’ll have worry about that Saturday). I enjoyed the seats besides just the outcome. I enjoy the upper deck because you can see how plays develop.

I don't think any of the recent recruiting momentum materializes without the upset victories at Auburn and against Kentucky. As much as this group has frustrated me over the last couple of years, you have to give them a lot of a credit for their efforts this season.

History may not look back on this particular version of the Volunteers fondly, but their improvement this season may have accelerated what looked to be a half-decade rebuild, or more.

2018 Vols, no matter how the rest of the season plays out, thank you for giving your all for Tennessee.
