My wedding day was the Florida game in 2014. Was back and forth watching the game and taking pictures at our house before the ceremony. Wife was not too happy about that. Also, I very much despise Treon Harris for preventing a Vol win that day.I was in a wedding during the Florida game 2015. My dad was in the balcony listening on his phone and giving me hand signals to tell me the score.
Yeah, I spent the first part of the reception in the kitchen with the pastor watching the end of the game. It was great until it wasn’t.My wedding day was the Florida game in 2014. Tennessee has some recruiting momentum, especially for Grayson recruits like Owen Pappoe
as well as some in-state targets, and the win over Kentucky was a big one.
The Vols can close out with two wins over Missouri and Vanderbilt, make it to a bowl game and push for a top-10 recruiting class. Right now, Tennessee is No. 11 in recruiting thanks to commits like Wanya Morris, Jayeln McCollough and Lakia Henry
and the Vols are in the mix for many talented players. North Carolina prospect Quavaris Crouch just put the Vols in his top three and they are trying to lure Pappoe and Kenyatta Watson from Grayson as well as many others.
The Kentucky win has really lit a fire under the Vols when it comes to national attention, so I expect big things.
They have almost took out Kyle, admiral, bone, grant and fulk. I have my doubts they aren't being sloppy balance wise on purpose throughout game hoping to injure our guys
I guess taking out knees isn't just a football thing. That's how GT plays. Their coach said that's part of their game plan and the reason they go about 12 deep in their games. It's not a bad strategy when it works and it's tough to get a good flow when the game is stopped for free throws that often. What we have to do is become a better free throw shooting team. We missed 14 free throws last night and that will get you beat in really close games.
yep. the good news for us is we are deep as well, so we can go toe to toe w/fresh bodies. That's how GT plays. VQAmong the guys dinged up, everyone was present and accounted for Wednesday. Bryce Thompson was in pads and a helmet, but he didn’t participate in any contact drills. Safeties Micah Abernathy and Trevon Flowers appeared fine. Wideout Jauan Jennings also was moving well, as his ankle continues to progress. Ty Chandler was still wearing a big knee brace but the sophomore did not appear limited.
Tennessee moved a couple backup defensive players around today. JJ Peterson was over with the inside linebackers, while Kivon Bennett was back with the OLB unit. Also, redshirt freshman Solon Page was working at safety.
The OL did a couple different combo blocking drills with the TEs, and the same unit that started the last three weeks worked together Wednesday. That group had a nice showing against UK and that continuity could help against a stout Missouri front Saturday.
The quarterbacks and wideouts worked a lot on red zone plays today, mainly focusing on bunch formations. Jennings had a drop and Jarrett Guarantano nearly threw a pick, but the rest of the session was flawless. Josh Palmer and Jennings both had nice touchdowns on corner routes. David Johnson did holler at freshman Cedric Tillman twice — wanting him to run through the route.
