He couldn’t totally dismiss the rumors, but he never said it was a done deal or that it was really trending that way.

To totally dismiss any donor communication with Gruden is also naive. Just as the first time, someone discussed the job with him, but Currie just wasn’t going there and frankly, he wasn’t going to coach in college.

The bottom line with AV is he posts how he posts, just like tonight. We decide how we interpret it and run with it.
If it turns out not to be the case, some try to blame him for lying to them.

I'm not even worried about the Gruden fiasco, hell, the freaking chancellor couldn't find out what Bahama John was doing half the time. AV told us what he was being told and that's that.

All I know is, time after time, he gives us the big smiley face before a recruit commits to us and it's always right. He damn sure isn't guessing. And that's good enough for me.

He never said Gruden was coming. There were people trying to make Gruden happen. If you don't believe that, you are thick. You are still at best misrepresenting what he personally brought to that...or just a damn liar trying to throw mud at a respected poster and actual contributing member of VN for some asinine reason. Wastes of bandwidth like you, that love nothing more than to besmirch a respected poster make me sick.


If I was him I would have cut this place loose a looooong time ago, instead he is out there actially putting his money where his mouth is...helping hurting members of VN financially, and giving away great seats to games to veterans and their families...and financially supporting the effort to restore the Volunteers to their rightful place..


What the hell do you bring?

That's it Fulmer's gonna take over as OC/OL recruiting coordinator and Weinke will take care of QBs and Friend is TE coach.......... Oh and Neid's is taking over RBs. Finally figured it out.......... All joking aside majority in Volnation will be extremely happy.
