Honestly I hope he stays in Boone for the foreseeable future. App is a good school and football has done wonders for the local economy. Attended a few games this year and the community really gets behind them.

What's odd is there's been surprisingly little pushback against Freeze. He's been in the headlines for over a week now and the only negative thing I've read has been from local media worrying that there will be a negative response. I just don't think this hire is as controversial as they thought it would be.

yeah, it's a good job.

but if he keeps having success, they won't be able to keep him there. but app has a good thing going, good leadership and has generally made good decisions in regards to football. and while i don't know that i'll ever agree with moving to d1 (purely financial, so i get it), they can certainly compete w/in their conference. they just need to always make sure they've got a "list".

the staff turnover on the defense in CArolina has finally taken it's toll.

the defense is awful and it just shouldn't be based on the personnel. apparently CRR is going to take play calling duties over from Washington and Washington is just going to coach the front 7.

doesn't really matter now. at 6-6, we're 3rd team out of the playoffs. with 4 to go. and we close the season with NO, ATL, and @ NO. and a trip to Cleveland next weekend.

8-8 at best. and out of the playoffs. sad. sitting 6-2 1 game back of the Saints a month ago.

Can't argue with you there. He'll get picked up sooner rather than later just hope we're a few years away from that.

Anyway back to the OC search.

Their calling for 9-15in of snow here in the high country this weekend so Freeze till it ain't.

great. now i can look forward to all those winter storm warnings on the TV this week for the mountain viewing areas. lol.
