No, I remember it coming up when the initial reports came out and we all talked about how dirty Freeze is.

I reposted it after Googling and refreshing my memory.

There’s no reason to believe Taggart’s seat is any hotter than Pruitt’s.

Agree but they looked so poorly coached. I think the reason Hugh wouldn't go there is because Taggart is a dick. Taggart will not give full control of offense. Same with Gus. TN or Bama are the more intriguing options for him to be HC of offense. He has always thought of TN as a job he wanted albeit the HC job. He also knows what helping bring TN back to greatness does for his resume rebuild

I don't think he is up to a job this big yet, and I said why. There are buttloads of teams in non-defense dominant leagues putting up huge yards and points...big effin deal.

Someone said it earlier, and I agree: We would not let Chip go to Kansas if we aren't getting Freeze. The whole time, there have only been 2 real candidates. If they thought Freeze would be blocked, they would have jumped on Chip. Clearly his move today shows he was never staying at Auburn. We could have easily had him with no blowback. Just be patient, VN. It's getting chilly outside.

To be honest, I’m cool if he never gets a second chance.

I know he will because he’s a good football coach. And that’s fine too. Just prefer we’re not the program giving him that chance.

Kingston, I at one time felt like you. Now I do not. I do not care if we win the Fulmer Cup every year, don’t care what the coaches or bag men do either. I just want to WIN. I am tired of UT SUCKING. I am tired of watching Bama, LSU, UGA, FL and even freaking vandy beat us. I just want to win and if it takes a shady charactor like Freeze to do it, bring him on.
