After reading the entire chat on VQ I still think it's Freeze tomorrow. Can't see UT letting him go elsewhere and Freeze wants the UT job. Hubbs said repeatedly Freeze to UT isn't dead. And he also said he thinks Freeze has a new gig somewhere within the next 48hrs. Sounds like UT needs to make it happen tomorrow or he's going to FSU, Auburn or possibly Bama.

There’s literally no plan after freeze. Not a hint of anyone else. If it’s not Freeze then this is as bad as the Currie HC search. I don’t think it comes to that.

I agree. Enos and Drinkwitz aren't real candidates and Pruitt just let Lindsey go to Kansas. It's been Freeze and it's still Freeze, IMO.

How do they or you(?) know Hugh is likely gone, and Enos and Drinkwitz are not serious candidates, if they have no clue who it might be?

Couldn't it be equally possible Freeze is making us wait (for Bama likely) to choose, which would move the whole thing forward once that domino falls?
If I was Freeze/Sexton Bama seems like the best career rehab.

My source is saying that within the last 24 hours Freeze has visited the campus of every P5 school with or without an OC vacancy. TIFWIW

Honestly I'm not sure what the holdup is at this point or if there even is one. Maybe the plan was to announce Tuesday all along all this other stuff was Sexton doing what he does? I have no idea. But if Freeze isn't announced UT's new OC tomorrow it's going to get very interesting.

It has to be. There really isn’t another explanation for it. Even VQ guys when asked “if not Lindsey now or freeze, then who?”.... they literally they didn’t know. It’s because there is no one else. If Hugh was really interested in FSU he would be on a plane right now interviewing. He’s waiting on us.

As it's been stated, it appears this was a 2 horse race that saw Lindsey drop out and move toward another option. It may not be Freeze in the end but all of this seems odd.
