Tennessee's best advantage over Gonzaga os their ability to physical and aggressive. Gonzaga always fouls and turns the ball over when pressured. The problem is, even a bad Gonzaga game means they score 80. So far this seasom, their lowest total is 84 against a pressing Illinois squad

The real key is Tennessee's offense. They are going to have to shoot well from 3 to win. They need to slow the game down.

The PR campaign for Freeze is meant to do exactly what the PR for Gruden did. Get the fans ready to riot for any other coach. The difference is one was orchestrated in an attempt to move the UTAD towards cetain people's preferred path while the other has been led by the UTAD to clear the way for what they want. Nobody is going to be willing to stand in the way of this hire.

That's where I am. It's about the only answer that fits. Everybody wants him! Even Jerry Falwell's bunch! Nobody else left! Panic!

If we hired Freeze last Friday the reports would focus much more on Freeze the person and comparisons to the Schiano disaster.

Now Freeze has interviewed at multiple blue blood programs and even received consideration from probably the most strict Christian School in division 1. He was a top candidate for Auburn and FSU and Tennessee was viewed as the best job to him.

We won Freezes services in that case not the story about his past quite as much.

If it’s true that it’s PR it’s a think of absolute beauty.

Thats a nicer indoor practice facility than UGA had up until a few years ago.

Never said Pruitt wouldn’t want Hurts. Good try though. But sad to burst your bubble Hurts won’t be coming to UT.

If this is the case, and that's a HUGE if, that would mean the old guard really isn't in charge anymore and the future for Tennessee football is very bright. The BVS in me is skeptical.

You literally said Pruitt isn’t going to waste a roster spot on another QB. Then pointed to Pruitt “not actively recruiting them” (hurts or Francois) as us not wanting them, even tho it’s against the rules to do that right now🤦‍♂️ These were your exact words that started it
We aren’t going to waste our numbers on a transfer QB when we have a Freshman coming in and need more Defensive players.

Again if you think we are going to waste our numbers on just any Transfer QB out there you are wrong and Hurts isn’t going to come to Tennessee. So my point is valid. Your arguement is stupid.

This. We will have done our due diligence by not rushing into a hire and vetted the hire and the perception will be Tennessee got who they wanted and is back playing with the traditional powers again off the field...and soon, on the field.

I’ve sat at a high school football game with Jimmy Sexton, when he was watching his son play (Christian Brothers). He’s not a bad dude, and he’s damn good at his job. He’s portrayed as a villain but he’s just like any other person.

I’m not really sure what to believe at this point, but this is the general area I’m leaning

The Liberty offer is bizarre. To me, he called in a favor there, publicity for both, and as you said, it rehabilitates his image
