I hate to hear that. My neighbor has been going through this the last few months. Her husband is a vet, served 29 years. She has beat herself up over it because not all of her family thought it was necessary (It was, they are from out of state and wouldn’t know the stress she was under). I hope things get easier for you in time.

Dude was in his late 20s, maybe 30. Nothing sexual is even alleged. At the worst, a young man used poor judgement. It really isn't news now.

Poor judgment is not nearly strong enough a term. Why do you all think it's no big deal that he used his power to require an 8th grade girl to remove her shirt while he was present? If that is what happened. It's a huge deal if it did. I do admit that he story is less believable this many years later.

Whoever Tenn hires, most will look up Wikipedia/Listed Accolades/Best highlights of coaching career including victories, players coached, etc and be extremely pleased (I used to be this fan). Much like 3 stars recruited as their film is the BEST. Tenn always gets the best... sigh

I think back to some of the dumb things I did at that age...yikes. Somehow we make the journey from worthless dudes to leaders in our homes, businesses, churches. It's called growing up.

And for the record, Freeze may still be a worthless POS. I'm just not inclined to reach that conclusion based on something that may or may not have happened 20 years ago.

We have all made really stupid mistakes. I doubt many of us have required an underage girl to change clothes in front of them. I'm done. You're welcome to respond, but I won't belabor I point anymore.

I hate to assume to be the voice of reason, but I’ve been through one or two coaching searches on here.

A year ago many of you were pissed that the administration would not/did not do it’s due diligence in the coaching search, and we were loud in protesting that error.

The result of that...er, event...is that we now have AD Fulmer pulling some of the strings. This is a man that bleeds Pantone 151 with every inch of his being. How can you fault this man for wanting to do everything necessary to protect his beloved university?

Let this thing play out. I know we’re sick of feeling like the last ones holding a dance card or -swipe right depending on your age- but this is a big choice, and it needs to be the right one. Yes, I know it’s been a decade of waiting- but just a little patience may unfortunately be necessary, a bad hire here would be quite a setback.

The Briarcrest stuff gives me serious pause- and should most of us. We should at least allow that to be fully investigated.

There are a few solid candidates out there- let’s give Fulmer and Pruitt a chance to make the right move.

Yes ma’am. I’m not saying I believe anything. But you do realize there is some folks on here that believe things that certain posters say because they think they have “inside “ information. I was simply saying that an “insider” was wrong or maybe mislead us. That could have been intentional or unintentional. But as for me I DONT believe any one on this message board or any for that fact.
