I don't think Yurcich's offensive philosophies jive with what Pruitt is trying to do. Yurcich is a high tempo guy and won't be as run-heavy. Just for fun I did some basic math comparing our offense

OKST- Passed about 49% of the time. Average plays per game was 77
UT- Passed about 42% of the time. Average plays per game was 58

One caveat is that 40 of the run attempts were by Guarantano and he took 22 sacks this year. That would up our pass percentage up to 45%. But doing the same for them bumps them over 50. Also, maybe Pruitt runs a low-tempo offense because we have no depth especially on defense. Hard to say, but very different offensive philosophies as OKST was running nearly 20 more plays per game on offense.

Man you just don't get it. You never, ever, ever burn your sources.

Let's say you're involved with UT athletics in some way, like giving them lots of money, and you've become friends with the folks on the hill that you deal with. If they share info with you you can't just come on a message board and spill guts..things are traceable. Maybe they only told you and nobody else. It's out there and not only have you lost a friend, you probably cost them their job and may lose your own as well depending on how deep the crap hits the fan.

That's why things are never posted as concrete in a traceable manner.

This is a replay not a new game. Jokes aside get a good hire, but my gosh get better at PR. If we don't want Freeze or he didn't want us move on.

If we settle for big 10 or big 12 coaches then expect big 10 or big 12 numbers in the SEC which will not be very much at all.football down here is a different world.

Soooo TLDR Pruitt thought he had Freeze. We can't get out of our own way, slow playing him while our second option Lindsey gets away. Now we lose Freeze to Bama and Lindsey to Kansas. Enos not interested. Locksley to Maryland. Back to square one looking like the baby who got the candy stolen YET AGAIN.

The result of that...er, event...is that we not have AD Fulmer pulling some of the strings. This is a man that bleeds Pantone 151 with every inch of his being. How can you fault this man for wanting to do everything necessary to protect his beloved university?

Let this thing play out. I know we’re sick of feeling like the last ones holding a dance card or swipe right depending on your age- but this is a big choice, and it needs to be the right one. Yes, I know it’s been a decade of waiting- but just a little patience may unfortunately be necessary, a bad hire here would be quite a setback.

The Briarcrest stuff gives me serious pause- and should most of us. We should at least allow that to be fully investigated.

There are a few solid candidates out there- let’s give Fulmer and Pruitt a chance to make the right move.

I'm am, have been and will remain as patient as an oyster. However, as far as this situation goes I'm sick and tired of hearing about Briarcrest. Whatever it was happened years ago and more than likely has been vetted more than once by now. If they don't like and don't want him, then grow a set, say so and state your reasons. This whole Briarcrest thing just sounds like a convenient, bullsh!t excuse for the admin not to man up..

Good. But some with real info have quit posting because they are attacked when things change. It's a learning experience when you find out who to and who not to listen to. And right now nobody knows who is who. GBO!

😂 ok man! We don’t agree and that’s cool. The personal friend thing was an example and I guess you’re the type that breaks every word down. Maybe it’s just my personality. I don’t know you at all but if we are sitting beside each other at a ball game and you start going on with some nonsense I would tell you I don’t agree or would say man you’re just making this junk up. Do people not run trolls out of this message board? Why are some given a pass and some are not? Maybe 1 is here more often than others?
