As pitiful as Alabama looked with Roster of 5*’s! As great as Clemson looked with roster of possible UT commits. They got whipped at A&M earlier this year. Should have never won that game! It’s a crazy world! Never know what can happen next year!

It didnt hurt that he had a pretty good team that he took over in 2008. That team was preseason #9 and even though they went 3-3 in conference, they had a ton of talent on that roster.

Clemson is an easy school to get into, its in a warm place. Has some beautiful coeds, which no longer matters to me, but i give it points for that. And plays in a historically bad conference.

When Clempshit started getting good, we started getting bad. I have no quantifiable data to point to. Just opinion. But id argue that no other CFB team being good impacts us as Clempsin did/does. Simply from a regional recruiting perspective. Notice i didnt blame our bad play on them, we suck.

still same. Congrats to Brent Venables on a masterful coaching job. Congrats to yabo dabo on recruiting a good qb. /congrats.

Hate to draw parallels to UT fall and Clemson rise, but goes to how things can spin out of control if wrong decisions are made...especially one after another, as in UT case, but much of talent on Clemson has come at expense of UT. The fact that Trevor idolizes Peyton and from Johnson City initially and UT fan, sickens me. Well documented Taj Boyd run off by Kiffin, becomes key in building early success and momentum at Clemson, which enabled Clemson to start building talent in the trenches. We need "that guy" to lift UT...if we can get our OL to improve, and JG improves, I think he has potential to be that guy who gets us to the next higher level QB...or maybe we have him committed now. To get to championship level will take years, but getting to 8-9 wins over next few years, to me is acceptable and a must...all this being said, sure would help if we could hire an OC.

And Saban just got beat like he hasn’t in over 5 years at least IF ever at Alabama idk I’m sure he took bad losses at LSU

So its negative recruiting when Clemson says Butch sucks, Urban is about to quit, and Saban is getting up there in years? Sounds more like the truth to me....
