Give it up man. Everyone except DM seems to have missed on this hire until it was known by all.

I disagree. Atlanta Vol may get the outcome wrong, but he knows who we should be watching out for. I think he has known that we have been talking to him for a very long time.

Even if your are an "insider," you still don't know all the details. You are just getting snapshots of information.

yeah, i think the only thing that concerns me is the possiblity of Martin winding up in Crimson. that would Suuuuuuuuuuuuck.

if you gotta fire Weinke to get Martin (assuming the goal is to get Martin) then do it. i for one think keeping DJ would be a good move.

otherwise, someone sell me on which guy is worth keeping...DJ or CW?

Geaux, I've said it since Pruitt was hired, we're about to enter a great, new era of Tennessee football. Jeremy Pruitt is a winner, it's all he has ever known. This coming decade, he will turn us into one of the top five programs in the country.
Yes, I about threw up when I heard Fulmer had hired an Alabama native that played at AL and coached at AL then I listened to his press conference. It wasn't eloquent or flashy, but he is one determined individual that will not settle. It is going to take longer than we would like, but we will constantly be improving.

yeah, i think the QB coach part of this deal is what really stands out to me. and he's going to run a balanced offense, and we know he's not scared to take shots and light it up when he knows he can.
i was intrigued by the thought of some other guys, lebby and sark etc...

but i gotta say, now that it's done, i just have some semblence of confidence in this hire.

if nothing else, we know what we're getting, and there's some relative confidence that we can/will get better offensively...if not immediately, the near future probably looks good.

and it just can't be bad for recruiting...it just can't be. i'm expecting some more of those GA kids to take notice, especially now that you have Bailey locked up.

i'm excited. maybe a year too early, but excited nonetheless.
I love the QB coach in CJC.

He's also someone Pruitt can trust, which means Pruitt can now give his almost complete attention to turning us into the best D in college football.

The tears taste so good. Keep bringing the Georgia boards for me!

I GOT YOU!..it’s interesting reading through these, apparently Chaney wasn’t Kirby’s first choice and he wanted Enos and they might make a run at him but if not they think Kirby will go with coley.huge amount of division on the board though about half and half of people who wanted him gone and who wanted him to stay...more or less they are hurting feeling the pressure of needing both a DC and OC.
