If you’re going to come on here and provide information, you have to accept people will discuss when it’s right or wrong. I think AV respects that.

At no point have I accused him of being a fake. But there is nothing wrong or disrespectful about discussing or questioning the accuracy of the information someone is getting.

People question and discuss media members all the time. But we can’t discuss AV’s accuracy? Why? Because he has done many great things for fellow members on this board? No one is taking that away from him, at least I’m certainly not.

I am in 100% agreement with your comments and think you are spot on. I will say this however..when i am wrong it means our coaches are wrong so it isn’t a good look for any of us when it happens!

I spoke with a hs coach that has dealt with many of the coaches over the years recruiting his players. Two key things he said about CHaney.

1) said He was very good relationally with him
And other coaches and very well respected. I even said "he's a little goofy isn't he?" And he said not at all and that he comes across as Very very smart.

2) Kevin Steele told him that Chaney is best OC in the county. He's always 3-4 plays ahead of the defense in his thinking and is a genius.


He certainly likes him a lot

They disappointed this year but something was off with their team...seeming lack of leadership, division caused by the Fields situation and OL injuries all had impact. I am very excited for our future with Chaney running the O and Pruitt running the D. Add in Tee as a recruiter to go along with Nieds and this rebuild will get a good bit shorter.

Yeah, I think Tee would be the cherry on top. I think we now have the right on-field coaches. We just need another high level recruiter. I think it would give UT another big dose of media boost as well.
